Once the players are done, the dealer will play their hand. You will play your hand until you go bust or you stand. You can look at the face down card, but keep it that way until the end of the game. You will be dealt two cards, one face up and one face down. For example, if you’re dealt more cards after your fist hand and you go bust, that ace can now be considered a 1 to keep you in the game. Kings, queens, jacks, and 10s all equal 10.Cards 2 through 9 all count as face value.

The player can also win if the dealer busts and they do not. Going “bust” is when the value of your cards exceeds 21. The player wins if the value of their hand is higher than the dealer’s without going bust. Your objective is to get as close to 21 with your cards without going over. In blackjack, the goal is to beat the dealer.
